These terms set out the agreement between you and HarrisonLILY Limited when you use ukof (this website). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the site.
1. What we are
We are a price-comparison website. We pull product data from a range of UK retailers and present it side-by-side so you can compare prices and pick a place to buy. We do not sell anything ourselves. When you click a "Compare" or "Buy" link you leave our site and the rest of the transaction happens between you and the retailer.
2. How we make money
When you click through to a retailer and make a purchase, the retailer (via an affiliate network such as Awin) may pay us a small commission. This does not change the price you pay. It also doesn't influence how we order results — products are ranked by the criteria you choose (cheapest first by default), not by what pays us most. If a retailer pays us no commission, we will still list them where their data feed allows.
3. Accuracy of information
We do our best to keep prices, stock, and product details up to date by re-importing retailer feeds at least once a day. Despite this:
- prices and availability can change between feed updates
- retailers occasionally publish bad data, which we attempt to filter but cannot always catch
- delivery costs, restrictions, and discounts shown on the retailer's own site take precedence over what we display
Always confirm the price and details on the retailer's website before buying. The information on this site is for general comparison and is provided "as is" without any warranty.
4. Your purchase is with the retailer
We are not a party to any contract you enter into with a retailer. The retailer is responsible for taking your payment, delivering the product, handling refunds and returns, and complying with consumer law. If something goes wrong with an order, you need to contact the retailer directly. We're happy to help you find their contact details, but we cannot intervene in disputes.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, copy, or republish our listings or content for commercial purposes without our written permission
- attempt to disrupt, overload, or attack the site
- use any automated system to interact with the site at a rate that disrupts service for others
- attempt to game our click tracking by generating false clicks
- impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone
6. Accounts
If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login details private and for any activity under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it.
7. Intellectual property
The layout, design, branding, and original written content on this site are owned by HarrisonLILY Limited. Product images, descriptions, and other product data are owned by the respective retailers and are used here under the terms of our affiliate agreements. Trade marks shown belong to their respective owners.
You may share links to product or category pages, and quote short extracts of our content with credit. For anything more substantial, please ask first.
8. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, or for any loss caused by inaccurate listings (subject to section 3 above), retailer behaviour, or temporary unavailability of the service. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
9. Suspension and removal
We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts, or block access from particular IP ranges, where we reasonably believe these terms are being broken or where it's necessary to protect the service.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent change. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms and any dispute relating to them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
